This year is expected to be all about altcoins that function in line with the predictable trends in crypto space such as the metaverse, decentralised finance (DeFi) and decentralized application(dApps)
Not only for bitcoin, but also for altcoins 2021 was an important year. Investors are interested in altcoins such as Avax, solana, ether, cardano, among others, for a variety of reasons, including faster transactions, lower costs and lower environmental impact.
So we have ups and downs, anyone who's here for a year knows exactly what's going on right now, and hopefully what will happen soon enough.
Personally I'm very bullish on Avax. And here are some reasons and cool facts that would like to share will you all.
The AVAX is zero layer blockchain is actually just as scalable as Ethereum is, but it also has a better transaction rate. The Avalanche platform also aims for a lesser gas price than Ethereum. Overall, Avalanche team promised a blockchain that’s better than ETH and they’ve delivered one so far.
The point I’m trying to make is that the technology behind AVAX is solid, which explains why its among the top 10 cryptocurrencies in the world.Now that we’ve addressed the platform and its underlying technology, let’s check the coin.
AVAX has a total supply of 720 million coins, but only 245.3 million of it is in supply. Which is one of the reasons why its price is reasonably high despite the coin’s supply. It’s at $79per coin.
The all-time high was almost double what it is now, in November 2021, standing at $147. So, we know that the price of a coin has the potential to go past $100.
No matter how good the underlying technology is, the price is largely dependent on the trust and popularity the coin has. And that depends on the people trading in the crypto market.
If all things go well (which you cannot expect in the crypto market), and this trend of growth continues, by the end of 2022, we can safely assume the price leveling at $100 - $150.
