What is JEWEL? What does it do?
The native token for DeFi Kingdoms is JEWEL. These tokens play a part in marketplaces, games and farming rewards within the ecosystem.
How can I buy JEWEL?
It is highly recommended to use Metamask.
Setting up Metamask
On setting up the Harmony Mainnet RPC for your Metamask wallet. After you have ONE in your wallet, you can head on over to the game and trade these ONE tokens for JEWEL.
Current Locations in DeFi Kingdoms
Marketplace
Swap tokens at the current exchange rate. You can become a liquidity provider by pairing any two tokens, earning you fees anytime these tokens are traded.
Gardens
Earn rewards in JEWEL by adding liquidity through incentivized pools in the Garden. JEWEL is distributed to liquidity providers every block. The reward multipliers decrease gradually (see here).
Bank
Deposit JEWEL tokens to receive xJEWEL. The Bank will collect fees from swaps in the DeFi Kingdom app and periodically purchase JEWEL. These buybacks (+ % of in-game purchases) are distributed to xJEWEL holders.
Tavern
Buy and sell Heroes in the Tavern. Find your perfect Hero by filtering through generations, rarity, classes and more! There is a 3.75% fee on all sales transactions via the Tavern.
Portal
Use 2 Heroes and Gaia's Tears in the summoning process to create a new Hero. You can also hire a Hero from the Tavern (paying the listed rent fee in JEWEL).
Professions
Send your Heroes on Profession Quests when the functionality is fully released! The four professions are: Mining, Gardening, Foraging and Fishing. Each Profession Quest depletes your Hero's stamina.
Docks
Access the Anyswap Bridge to bridge over assets from Harmony to other networks seamlessly. This will come in handy when DeFi Kingdoms goes multi-chain.
(Wishing Well)
The first Quest Lite in DeFi Kingdoms! Send your Heroes to the Wishing Well to gain XP and Gaia's Tears, which can be used to summon new Heroes
